Embark at Alexandria is seeking an <strong>Overnight</strong> <strong>Behavioral Health Associate</strong> to mentor adolescents (ages 12 - 17) in a <strong>residential treatment program</strong>. As a key member of our <strong>multidisciplinary treatment team</strong>, you will help create a <strong>structured, supportive environment</strong> where adolescents can heal and develop essential life skills. This role can be physical in nature, so we encourage candidates who feel comfortable with these demands to apply.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our <strong>home-like residential program</strong> fosters healing for both clients and staff, offering an opportunity to make a lasting impact while growing personally and professionally. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct routine bed checks to ensure client safety and compliance</li>\n <li>Monitor clients in assigned rooms and respond to concerns</li>\n <li>Support clients who are ill, distressed, or unable to sleep</li>\n <li>Maintain a safe, calm, and structured overnight environment</li>\n <li>Document bed checks, observations, and incidents accurately</li>\n <li>Perform light cleaning and laundry duties</li>\n <li>Follow crisis protocols and report incidents as needed</li>\n <li>Communicate overnight updates to incoming staff</li>\n <li>Follow all safety, confidentiality, and program policies </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>21+ years of age or older</li>\n <li>High school diploma or GED</li>\n <li>Able to pass pre-employment drug screen</li>\n <li>Able to pass criminal investigation background check</li>\n <li>Current driver's license in good standing</li>\n <li>Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid.</li>\n <li>Ability to safely hold or restrain an upset or combative client</li>\n <li>Skill in de-escalating agitated clients</li>\n <li>Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities</li>\n <li>Ability to plan, implement, and adjust to plans accordingly</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Embark is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</strong> We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community.
