Recommend and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls. Supports high level assembly and molding systems both automated and manual.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Engineering Technician III Shift Openings:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Swing Shift</strong>- (Mon.-Fri., 3:00 PM-11:30 PM) - $1.00 shift differential will be added to your regular hourly rate for working swing shift.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Graveyard Shift:</strong> (Mon.-Fri., 11:00 PM-7:30 AM) - $3.00 shift differential will be added to your regular hourly rate for working graveyard shift.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supports Engineering; builds automated equipment in accordance with design specifications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supports Engineering; performs validation of equipment to support internal and external customer.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supports Production; ensures seamless operation of complex equipment within validated state and production targets.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Acts as subject matter expert for operation and adjustment of production equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recommends and implement process improvements and corrective actions to include design changes, automation, and equipment improvements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides technical support for the continual improvement of operation and products, with emphasis on improving competitive advantage and determining appropriate applications of the latest technology that supports that strategic plan.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoots, repairs and fabricates production equipment; welding, cutting, assembly.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Creates clear and concise standard work instructions appropriate for the end user.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analyzes and evaluates manufacturing methods and provides solutions for problems that adversely affect costs, operator safety, productivity, and quality.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides support for other departments as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recommends and tests various machinery and equipment for improved manufacturing methods.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Documents custom equipment and modifications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure installation and qualification of standard and custom equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Implements permanent corrective actions and updates associated processes accordingly.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs all other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience as a technician in a highly-regulated manufacturing environment<ul type=\"disc\"><li>ISO9001 or ISO 13485 preferred</li><li>Automated and semi-automated assembly processes a must</li><li>Experience with tightly controlled and defined process steps necessary</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The position is responsible for the maintenance, setup and adjustment of:<ul type=\"disc\"><li>Electrical and electronic systems</li><li>Highly mechanical assembly systems and aides</li><li>Hydraulic and pneumatic systems</li><li>PLC and CNC controlled equipment</li><li>Decoration systems utilizing inks and other media</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have strong skill in utilizing any number of handheld tools, including, but not limited to:<ul type=\"disc\"><li>Wrenches/Sockets</li><li>Screw Drivers/Allen Wrenches</li><li>Multimeters/Ammeters</li><li>Wire strippers</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent troubleshooting skills with above equipment and tools.
