    "description": "<p><br></p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Diesel &amp; Automotive Mechanic to join our growing fleet operations team. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise in diesel engine systems alongside a strong foundation in gasoline-powered vehicles, light and heavy trucks, and commercial machinery. If you take pride in precision work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to keeping vehicles safe and road-ready, we want to hear from you.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines, drivetrain components, electrical systems, and emissions systems across a diverse fleet of cars, trucks, and heavy equipment</li>\n<li>Perform and document routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, brake inspections, and tune-ups</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and repair diesel-specific systems including fuel injection, turbochargers, DEF/emissions systems, and high-pressure common rail systems</li>\n<li>Inspect and repair or replace worn, broken, or malfunctioning components such as belts, hoses, suspension parts, and hydraulic systems</li>\n<li>Identify fluid leaks, electrical faults, and mechanical failures using diagnostic tools and equipment</li>\n<li>Schedule and advise on future maintenance needs to maximize vehicle longevity and minimize downtime</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate service logs, repair records, and parts usage documentation</li>\n<li>Keep all shop tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment clean, calibrated, and in safe working condition</li>\n<li>Adhere strictly to all workplace safety protocols, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations regarding hazardous fluids and chemicals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as a mechanic with demonstrated diesel engine expertise (commercial trucks, heavy equipment, or fleet vehicles strongly preferred)</li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of diesel fuel systems, electrical/electronic diagnostics, and emissions compliance</li>\n<li>Proficiency with diagnostic software and scan tools (e.g., Cummins INSITE, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link, or equivalent)</li>\n<li>Ability to operate shop equipment including hydraulic lifts, presses, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship</li>\n<li>Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in varying environmental conditions</li>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a vocational/technical program or formal apprenticeship preferred</li>\n<li>ASE Certification required; ASE Medium/Heavy Truck (T-series) or equivalent diesel certification strongly preferred</li>\n<li>Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive compensation commensurate with experience</li>\n<li>A supportive team environment with opportunities for advancement</li>\n</ul>",
