With us, anticipate engaging and challenging projects that deliver innovative solutions and value-added technologies helping power more than 38 million North American homes.</p>\n<h2>What You’ll Do Day-To-Day</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks, resolution of field problems, and resolution of quality events. </li>\n <li>Develop awareness of government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards with support of senior staff.  </li>\n <li>Under a mentor’s guidance, evaluate, select and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications.  </li>\n <li>Assist in the translation of system and regulatory requirements into detailed hardware design requirements, design specifications, and implementation plans.</li>\n <li>Support development and review hardware designs, system architectures, cabinet layouts, Bills of Materials, system cabling interfaces, and cabinet power design.</li>\n <li>Assist in the definition of equipment setups/monitoring for seismic, environmental, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests.</li>\n <li>Support power distribution analysis, heat load calculations, response time evaluations, and uncertainty analyses for safety related systems.</li>\n <li>Provide support for SAP Material Master data and Bill of Materials (BOM) management activities.</li>\n <li>Assist in developing and executing test methods, procedures, and validation plans.</li>\n <li>Support development and execute Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) plans and associated reports.</li>\n <li>Work closely with system architects, software engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and licensing teams to ensure solutions are technically integrated, compliant, and licensable.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.  </li>\n <li>Exposure to use of CAD modeling and computer programming skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Total Rewards Package</h2>\n<p><strong>Total Rewards Package          </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Salary:</strong> $77,000 - $82,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
