    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure safe work systems/procedures including inspections are always practised and adhered to ensuring duties are performed in a manner that minimises risk to self, employees, and contractors.</li>\n<li>Always maintain exemplary standard of housekeeping, safe work, incident/accident reporting &amp; active involvement in safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.</li>\n<li>Abide by and proactively comply with Company policies, procedures, guidelines, and systems, as well as all relevant legislation.</li>\n<li>Understand and familiarise oneself with site Emergency evacuation procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Company / Leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Display conduct which is aligned with company Core Values, Policies and Procedures.</li>\n<li>Lead by example and actively participate to achieve department and company goals and objectives.</li>\n<li>Initiate and provide input into company directives in collaboration with the Site Management team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Behaviour / Attitude</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support and follow all lawful instructions/directives from direct supervisor.</li>\n<li>Maintain a high level of professionalism and take responsibility for own conduct and behaviour in the workplace.</li>\n<li>Ensure good, clear lines of communication between all stakeholders, including the Site Management team, co-workers, and contractors</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge / Skills / Duties</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform pre-operational and post-operational checks</li>\n<li>Read and accurately follow mine instruction plan with skill and precision ensuring holes are drilled to design line, gradient and profile</li>\n<li>Accurately drill a number of drive drill patterns using a mechanised hydraulic or electric Jumbo drill to suit conditions of the drive</li>\n<li>Assess ground conditions at the face and implement ground control according to site requirements</li>\n<li>Carry our underground development and production work, stripping, ground support and other mining tasks</li>\n<li>Ensure that all tools are serviceable and safe.</li>\n<li>When required, Supervise and trains operator, and works with trades and non-trades persons carrying out other tasks in and around the underground mine</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Teamwork</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate with surveyors, geologists, and engineers to optimise drill patterns and metres.</li>\n<li>Lead a crew of workers</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals – both within own department and site wide.</li>\n<li>Leverage the talent and knowledge within the team to resolve problems</li>\n<li>Deputise for the UG Shift Supervisor in their absence</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Planning &amp; Organisation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prioritise and complete tasks accurately as to specifications as assigned by direct supervisor within required timeframes.</li>\n<li>Proactively identify and address hazards before they arise as issues.</li>\n<li>Be punctual to work and all required site meetings.</li>\n<li>Undertake other duties as lawfully instructed</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n",
