Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform engineering calculations and produce engineering drawings as needed on variety of water resources related projects</li>\n <li>Conduct business development and project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects</li>\n <li>Perform field work whenever required</li>\n <li>Perform Hydraulic & Hydrologic modeling as needed</li>\n <li>Assist in writing reports, presentations, marketing, business development and other related items</li>\n <li>Develop design of various stormwater management, ecosystem restoration and flood risk reduction components such as detention systems, channels, tide gates, and others using local, state and federal standards</li>\n <li>Act as a mentor to junior engineers</li>\n <li>Serve as a Technical Lead, Engineer of Record, Task Manager or Project Manager on variety of water resources projects</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Skills & Required Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>B.S. Degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related Engineering field), with emphasis in stormwater conveyance, stream restoration, green infrastructure or water resources</li>\n <li>5 - 8 years related experience</li>\n <li>Knowledge/experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS and computer models such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, Infoworks, MIKE</li>\n <li>Knowledge of USACE, NYSDEC, FEMA, AWWA standards and procedures for design</li>\n <li>Prior experience with Infoworks and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is preferred</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer or ability to obtain Professional Engineering license in 6 months to a year</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills; and Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe software</li>\n <li>Clean driving record and valid driving license required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Don’t meet every single requirement?
