    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong>Primary Function:</strong> The Club Fit Instructor collaborates with the Club Fit Program Coordinator in delivering physical fitness and recreation to all Club sites with special attention to delivering grant objectives that fund the Athletics&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">department.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong>Key Roles (Essential Job Responsibilities):</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Assists in planning and delivering the implementation of all Club Fit program components at all sites.</span></span><ul style=\"list-style-type:circle;\"><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Hops Sports</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Spark PE Active Recreation</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Triple Play Healthy Habits</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Play Works</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Free Play</span></span></li></ul></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Plans and delivers the daily program curriculum activities with the youth participants at the site according to skill and grade levels to engage their active participation.&nbsp;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Ensures lessons delivered are aligned with the Georgia Department of Education&rsquo;s Physical Education (P.E.)</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Assists with marketing and promoting the Club Fit/Fit Zone program and all program components at site, school and in the surrounding community, including helping to educate parents of Club Fit participants.&nbsp;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Assists in enrolling youth participants in the Club Fit program on site.&nbsp;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Assists in the collection of baseline data and periodic benchmark data (including the required Fitness Grams) off all program participants at each site.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Monitors the well-being of all participants and individual student progress.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Assists with monitoring field trip opportunities to expose youth to life long and non-traditional sports) for all sites.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Encourages participants to continue with exercises and to make healthy choices outside the program activities (outside of school and/or after school program).&nbsp;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Ensure the proper maintenance and use of all Club Fit program equipment and supplies</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Participates in regular BGCL training sessions as required.&nbsp;</span></span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Additional Job Responsibilities:</span></strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Exercise authority, under the Club Fit Program Coordinator in problem solving relating to members utilizing guidance and discipline plan.&nbsp;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">All other duties as assigned.</span></span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Relationships:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Internal: </span></strong><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Maintains contact with all staff and members to ensure that outcomes for grants are measurable and effective. </span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#000000;\">External: </span></strong><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Maintains appropriate contact with members, families, and the general public to give and obtain information, either in response to inquiries or as instructed by the Club Fit Program Coordinator.</span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Physical Requirements/Work Environment:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Physical requirements include physical exertion such as lifting up to 40lbs, stretching, rigorous physical activity and bending in a Club setting as well as standing for long periods. The work environment is in a Club or school environment and includes interaction with youth ages 6-18 and can be noisy at time.</span></span></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Skills/Knowledge Required:</span></strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A high school diploma is required. Some education or training experience post high school in physical education, nutritional education, and health or youth development is preferred.</span></li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Two or more years&rsquo; experience in directing and implementing youth, physical education or sports programs is required.
