There is nothing in our inventory as valuable as the associates who carry our reputation into the marketplace. With the training we provide, the Field Service Technician helps Arnold to keep that standing. </strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Good driving record – (Field Service)</li>\r\n\t<li>Good English communication skills.\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>Verbal – Both internal and External Customers “Who, What, When, Where”</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Written – Customer, Dispatcher, Peers, Supervisor.</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>Good working knowledge of the internal combustion engine.</li>\r\n\t<li>Capable of reading a wiring/schematic diagram and service manual</li>\r\n\t<li>Drives to customer locations to repair forklifts and other material handling equipment. (Field Service)</li>\r\n\t<li>Conducts periodic maintenance services for the customer.</li>\r\n\t<li>Examines forklift, and other material handling equipment, assess the repair situation at hand, and consider your skill level, safety, and the hazards of the job will you require additional help.</li>\r\n\t<li>Capable of using a multimeter and laptop computer.</li>\r\n\t<li>Willing to continue education offered by Arnold Machinery and Vendor.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must have your tools.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must show up for work at the scheduled time</li>\r\n\t<li>Adhere to Arnold Machinery Company’s core values: “Integrity, Discipline, Empathy”</li>\r\n\t<li>Thank customers for their business including asking them if they are happy with the service received.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Non-essential Job Functions</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Assist the Service Manager with various tasks</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain a clean workspace and/or truck</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Physical Demands and Working Conditions: </strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain</li>\r\n\t<li>Lifting over 50 lbs. frequently</li>\r\n\t<li>Hands/arms operating equipment, hand, and power tools</li>\r\n\t<li>Seizes, helps, or works with hands</li>\r\n\t<li>Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts and tools</li>\r\n\t<li>Extends hands and arms in any direction</li>\r\n\t<li>Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist</li>\r\n\t<li>Remains in standing position if required for certain repair or maintenance work</li>\r\n\t<li>Climbing in and out of equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Read work tickets, parts, and service books and operate heavy equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Communication by radio, phone, and in-person</li>\r\n\t<li>Hears well enough to discern mechanical problems for safety in and around shop and construction sites and to receive communication by radio, phone, and in-person</li>\r\n\t<li>Sits in equipment and vehicles</li>\r\n\t<li>Lies in a prone position under vehicles and equipment</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Ability to use MICROSOFT EXCEL, WORD.
