The ideal candidate is good with people, detail oriented, self-motivated, and flexible. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why work for H&K Group, Inc.? </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience</li>\n <li>100% Company-paid Health Benefits</li>\n <li>401(k) Savings and Investment Plan</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programs</li>\n <li>Additional training programs including on the job, online through H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and more</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies</li>\n <li>Reviews timesheets, material receipts, and subcontractor invoices for completeness</li>\n <li>Computes and reviews total job cost applied to the site work jobs on a daily basis by entering all material receipts into the system</li>\n <li>Calculates profit/loss at both a cost level and per unit</li>\n <li>Locates errors in Purchase Order system while verifying material/subcontractor invoices along with Accounts Payable</li>\n <li>Creating Purchases Orders for materials ordered from field personnel</li>\n <li>Receipting of all packing slips for assigned divisions</li>\n <li>Indexing of all packing slips</li>\n <li>Track purchases, costs, prices, and inventory utilizing various software</li>\n <li>Open communication between Foreman/Superintendent and Project Managers/Estimators to discuss costs and make any changes if necessary</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university OR one year of related experience and/or training\n  <ul>\n   <li>Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Problem solving</li>\n <li>Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed</li>\n <li>Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> <strong>Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2 years of relevant experience and/or training</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Explorer software and HCSS products (Heavyjob, E360)</li>\n <li>Experience with cost reporting and purchasing for heavy civil construction</li>\n <li>OSHA or other relevant safety certifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequently required to sit, use hands to type and write</li>\n <li>Regularly required to answer phone, talk, and hear</li>\n <li>Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and ability to adjust focus </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Controlled office environment out of the elements</li>\n <li>Noise level is usually moderate</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The H&K Group, Inc. </strong>provides complete heavy civil contracting and construction materials solutions with safety, speed, quality, efficiency, and value.
