We value the professional and caring employees we have on the team who are dedicated to improving people’s lives.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>At the <strong>Otero County Processing Center</strong>, our employees strive to improve the lives of those in our care through robust educational programming, clinical care, and other resources. We are seeking full-time Nursing Assistant&nbsp;to join our team.</p>\n<p><strong>What you'll do</strong>: You'll be responsible for passing medications, filing, answering requests for information, and providing healthcare to detainees in compliance with MTC Medical and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) directives. &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Receive&nbsp;and maintain&nbsp;medical supplies and store properly. Provide accurate documentation and inventory.</li>\n <li>Enter prescription information into log: create labels and Medication Administration Records.</li>\n <li>Ensure medical supply cart, trauma bag, the PPE room and the facility first aid kits are fully and accurately stocked at all times.</li>\n <li>Return medications to pharmacy.</li>\n <li>Submit order forms for medical and office supplies, under supervision of Registered Nurse and Physician.</li>\n <li>Assist with maintenance of the Sick Call, Chronic Clinic and Specialty Logs.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school graduate or equivalent.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>May be a Nurse Assistant/Aide, Emergency Medical Technician, or<br>\n   Medical Assistant with appropriate certification or permit.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>One year of experience in a hospital, clinic or correctional setting preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Demonstrated competency in word processing and computer data entry.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must hold current CPR certification.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license in the state of New Mexico or Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Management &amp; Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
