    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><strong>About the Role: PER DIEM PRIVATE DUTY &amp; FLOOR SHIFTS AVAILABLE&nbsp;</strong></p><p>As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Senior Living Hospitality, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality resident care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to monitor residents health and report any changes in condition. This position requires compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ultimately, your contributions will significantly enhance the quality of life for residents and support their recovery process.</p><p><strong>JOB SPECIFIC</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: undefined;\" id=\"isPasted\"><li><br></li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of employment.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Basic life support (BLS) certification.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in long-term care or rehabilitation.</li><li>Additional certifications in specialized areas such as dementia care.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Bathe and clean, as needed, both male and female clients by bed bath, shower and/or whirlpool.</li><li>Assist in cleaning teeth, shampooing/combing hair, cleaning and cutting nails, applying make-up, shaving and cleaning glasses of both male and female clients.</li><li>Assist clients in dressing appropriately, encouraging usual and appropriate clothing.</li><li>Make clients&rsquo; beds and change linens as needed, clean up room and closet, picking up unnecessary articles and arranging room neatly.</li><li>Feed clients requiring total or partial assist with meals, set up trays for clients needing assistance, and pass and assist with snacks.</li><li>Answer call lights promptly and ensure call light alert devices are within reach at all times.</li><li>Assist clients with bedpan, urinal, and bedside commode or to bathroom as needed and/or as directed.</li><li>Change incontinent brief or diaper every two hours or more frequently if needed.</li><li>Take and give notice in writing, vital signs (temp, pulse, respiration &amp; blood pressure), heights and weights as requested, report abnormal or unusual signs to charge nurse. Report skin breakdown, pressure sores, changes in clients&rsquo; physical/mental condition to nurse immediately.</li><li>Measure intake and output on all clients for whom it has been ordered including emptying urine from indwelling catheters or other urine collection devices near end of shift and assist in collection of specimens.</li><li>Pass water to clients and ensure it is within reach. Collect water pitchers for cleaning per schedule.</li><li>Clean wheelchairs, walkers, commodes, bedpans and urinals per schedule.</li><li>Report unusual color or odor of excretes (urine, drainage, stool or sputum) before discarding it.</li><li>Assist in the transport, transfer, ambulation, frequent positioning and providing ROM to clients. Use measures that ensure client and associate safety. &nbsp;Request assistance when lifting, turning and moving clients, using lifting devices when needed. Transport to activities, meals and appointments as requested.</li><li>Help maintain personal dignity of each client by ensuring privacy and treating them with respect. Understand and follow Client Bill of Rights.</li><li>Check safety devices and release mechanisms per policy.</li><li>Always show courtesy, respect and positive attitude to clients, families, visitors and staff.</li><li>Perform routine household services essential to client care at home, including shopping, meal preparation, laundry and housecleaning.</li><li>Assist in admission, transfer and discharge of clients including ensuring rooms are ready for admit and assist client with belongings upon discharge.</li><li>Complete Nurse Aide flow sheet, according to instructions using only authorized abbreviations.</li><li>Identify client before providing care.</li><li>Follow universal precautions and isolation procedures for infection control. Wash hands at beginning of shift, between clients, before passing trays and after assisting with elimination&mdash;even if wearing gloves.</li><li>Maintain all service areas in clean and orderly condition and keep halls clear of equipment.</li><li>Report all accidents or incidents observed as they occurred.</li><li>Report suspected abuse immediately.</li><li>Perform assigned security tasks throughout the shift.</li><li>Provide relief for other associates for meal periods and breaks throughout your shift.</li><li>Assist with Valet duties.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p>The required skills for this position include strong communication abilities, which are essential for effectively interacting with residents and healthcare team members. Attention to detail is critical when monitoring vital signs and documenting resident information accurately.
