    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Title/Position:</strong>&nbsp;CHHA (Home Health Aide)</p><p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Branch Clinical Director</p><p><strong>Position Summary:&nbsp;</strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the client in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.</span></p><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Patient Care:</strong></p><ol><li>Provide direct patient care under direction of the RN and according to the Aide Plan of Care and to include personal hygiene, ambulation, exercise, safe transfers and other supportive tasks as assigned.</li><li>Complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner.</li><li>Practice accepted infection control principles.</li><li>Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment which promotes respect for patient, privacy and property.</li><li>Provide skills necessary to assist the patient with proper nutrition and adequate fluid intake.</li></ol><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Communication:</strong></p><ol><li>Appropriately report changes in the patient&rsquo;s condition.</li><li>Promote positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees.</li></ol><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Additional Duties:</strong></p><ol><li>Demonstrate commitment, professional growth and competency by attending 12 hours of in-services per year.</li><li>Promote the agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.</li></ol><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p>1. High School Diploma Preferred</p><p>2. At least one year experience in the last 24 months as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home or home health agency, or completion of Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide Program within the last 24 months.</p><p>3. Must be able to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions in English effectively.</p><p>4. Proof of current CPR and Hepatitis profile. Aide Competency Evaluation Skills</p><p>5. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.</p><p>6. Must have valid California Certified Home Health Aide license.</p><p><strong>SKILLS REQUIRED</strong></p><p>1. Demonstrates interest in the welfare of ill and elderly.</p><p>2. Works in patient&rsquo;s homes in various conditions, possible exposure to blood and body fluids and infectious diseases; ability to work flexibly schedule, ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather.</p><p>3. Prolonged standing and walking required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move patients. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines, to identify patient needs, to make quick decisions and meet patient/family psycho social needs. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to utilize durable medical equipment in the home.</p><p>4. Organized and resourceful self-starter, strong ability to work in a team</p><p>5.
