          "text": "<p>Each employee is expected communicate with peers and supervisors in a respectful and professional manner; exhibit mature behavior in dealing with ambiguous situations.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong>&#xa0; Our&#xa0;<strong> Warehouse Manager</strong> works in concert with the Warehouse Operations Manager and is responsible for the supervision of all day warehouse activities, receiving, proper storage to maintain product quality, picking orders and loading of product for shipping.&#xa0; This incumbent is responsible for loss prevention as it pertains to warehouse equipment, property and employee bodily injuries.&#xa0; This position encompasses the overall management of the day warehousing functions.&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee Warehouse Operations including Receiving, Operations Support, Quality/Inventory Control, Sanitation, and support of Shipping.</li><li>Manage employee performance, hiring and corrective counseling with support from Operations</li><li>Monitoring, evaluating and improving KPI’s in order to achieve Operation’s performance objectives.</li><li>Monitor all activities during the day to ensure the smooth operation of the Warehouse teams.</li><li>Ensure proper slot replenishment following the first in, first out procedure.&#xa0;</li><li>Responsible for the daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing in order to receive products at the facility in a productive and cost-efficient manner.</li><li>Directs the day-to-day activities of the warehouse. Such activities include receiving, forklift movement, inventory/quality control and sanitation.</li><li>Responsible for warehouse overtime rates, communicating inventory status such as out of stock product(s) to pickers, receiving errors, picking errors, and warehouse slotting of products.</li><li>Generates warehouse productivity reports (i.e. piece count report), in regard to receiving rates, and accounts for all labor hours, both direct and indirect. Adheres to labor distribution requirements and works toward attaining objectives and division goals.</li><li>Responsible for warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of OSHA local and state regulations.</li><li>Responsible for conveying maintenance of warehouse equipment and all necessary repairs to the Maintenance Dept. Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform the distribution functions.</li><li>Recommends equipment requirements and replacement to the Operations Manager in order to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.</li><li>Responsible for supporting all Food Safety Initiatives including managing the Safe Quality Food (SQF) System, PrimusGFS and Organic Certification requirements.</li><li>Responsible for support of Warehouse Safety Initiatives.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Peripheral Duties:&#xa0; </strong></p><ul><li>Support and implement food safety, workplace safety&#xa0; and quality assurance initiatives</li><li>Support and implement the company’s initiatives to promote positive employee morale and team building.</li></ul>",
