Description

Position Summary
The EHS Supervisor supports safety and compliance initiatives at client data center locations. This role is responsible for implementing site-level EHS programs, supporting regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong culture of safety for employees, contractors, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, or high-tech environments and possess a strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations. This is a hands-on, field-focused role that works closely with site leadership and crews to maintain safe operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Implement and oversee site EHS procedures and programs for data center operations and construction activities Ensure site activities comply with company standards, client requirements, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations Coordinate and deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and field training for employees and contractors, including emergency response, hazardous materials, and safe work practices Evaluate training needs and recommend improvements based on site trends and changing work conditions Conduct routine site inspections, hazard analyses, and risk assessments to identify and correct unsafe conditions Assist with planning and implementing risk mitigation strategies, including emergency response plans addressing construction activities and data center risks such as high-voltage systems, battery storage, HVAC systems, and confined space work Investigate and document incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking Coordinate corrective actions with site leadership and contractors to reduce the recurrence of incidents Support regulatory, client, and internal audits and inspections, and coordinate site readiness activities and documentation Track, maintain, and report site-level EHS metrics, documentation, and logs, and provide regular updates to the Director of EHS and site leadership Support site environmental compliance activities as assigned, including waste management practices, documentation, and required reporting Engage employees and contractors daily to reinforce safe work behaviors and strengthen the site safety culture Maintain accurate records related to training, inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation Participate in required training sessions and safety briefings Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Demonstrated experience implementing and managing EHS programs within semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech project settings . 5 years of EHS experience in data centers, critical facilities, construction, or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant safety standards. Certifications preferred: CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician), OHST (Occupational Health and Safety Technician), or similar. Experience with contractor safety programs and vendor management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to respond to emergencies and manage crisis situations. Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Benefits Pay is DOE (depending on experience).
