Human Resources Exemption: No Education Primary Care Paramedic Certificate from an approved educational institute Licenses Valid Class 4 driver's license Other Education and Training Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR) Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) Competencies Listening skills Interpersonal skills Written Communication Skills Verbal communication skills Basic - Computer skills Conflict resolution skills Knowledge and Abilities Decision making through the application of knowledge and critical thinking Able to safely and consistently lift/load stretcher on a regular basis Ability to function effectively in high stress and in emergency situations knowledge of legislation and regulations which governs practice Demonstrates the ability to be resourceful and to adapt to changing conditions Ability to operate emergency vehicles safely and effectively Familiar with the SK Ministry of Health Ambulance Information System.
