Located on Nathan Road in the heart of Kowloon, St Andrew’s has 5 congregations in English and Putonghua.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking to appoint a Women’s Pastoral Worker to work with the Associate Minister (Discipleship) in discipling women among our English-speaking congregations. She will coordinate women ministry initiatives at St Andrew's and help oversee our Women’s Growth Groups. She will also assist the Associate Minister in providing pastoral care to our female church members.<br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva\"> <span style=\"color: #222222\"> </span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva; font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva\"><span>1.    </span><span>Overseeing Women’s Growth Groups Ministry<br></span>To lead and help oversee our Women’s Growth Groups (small groups that meet for Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and support). This includes working closely with group leaders to support and equip them to lead well, participate in leading studies, offer pastoral care to group members, and assist in training opportunities, including identifying and training potential leaders.<br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva\"><span>2.     O</span><span>verseeing Women's Ministry<br></span>Coordinating Women Ministry initiatives at St Andrew’s. This includes being a part of a Women’s Ministry Committee (comprised of staff members and volunteers) organising evangelistic and discipleship events to preach the good news, make disciples, and help women connect with the church.<br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva\"><span>3.    </span><span>Assist with training courses and events<br></span>To assist in running courses at St Andrew’s, covering a range of pastoral issues such as bereavement, marriage, and prayer.<br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva\"><span>4.     </span><span>Pastoral Worker at 8:30 am, 9:30 am &amp; 11:30 am Services<br></span><span>To assist the clergy and other pastoral workers in providing pastoral care to women attending St Andrew’s morning services. This includes proactively arranging meetings with women for one-to-one Bible reading and prayer.</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva\"> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva; font-weight: bold\">Prerequisites</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The successful applicant must be a committed evangelical Christian, a humble leader, pastorally warm, hardworking and prayerful, faithful to the gospel and already fruitful in a similar role. Essential requirements include:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ol>\n<li>High level of biblical and theological skills.</li>\n<li>Excellence in reading the Bible one-to-one with women, leading bible studies, visiting groups and providing feedback.</li>\n<li>Formal theological training at a minimum of diploma level. Bachelor of Theology preferred.</li>\n<li>High competence in mentoring, coaching, and training leaders.</li>\n<li>High competence in pastoral care and counselling.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proficiency in English is a must and proficiency in Cantonese is highly preferred.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva\"> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva; font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Contract Position – 2 years contract, renewable upon satisfactory performance<br></span><span style=\"color: #222222\">44-hour per week structured in eleven four-hour sessions.<br></span><span style=\"color: #222222\">4 weeks annual leave<br></span><span style=\"color: #222222\">Health insurance<br></span><span style=\"color: #222222\">MPF<br>Salary depends on experience</span> </span></p>",
