In return for your contributions, you will be rewarded with career growth opportunities, an incredibly competitive market salary, and other benefits that include:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid time off (PTO)</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans</li>\n <li>401(k) with a high percentage match</li>\n <li>Generous profit sharing</li>\n <li>Cell phone stipend</li>\n <li>Referral bonus opportunities</li>\n <li>Employee discounts</li>\n <li>And more!</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>JOB TITLE</strong>: Truss Production Manager</p>\n<p><strong>JOB LOCATION</strong>: Sugar City, Idaho</p>\n<p><strong>FUNCTION</strong>: The Truss Production Manager drives the safe and efficient production of Truss units in accordance with customer needs and in alignment with Sunpro business objectives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REPORTING TO</strong>: Truss Location Manager</p>\n<p><strong>KEY ACTIVITIES</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Visualize and implement Company vision and core values.</li>\n <li>Set department goals, monitor labor productivity, and manage department financial performance.</li>\n <li>Establish and drive compliance to standard operating procedures and production guidelines.</li>\n <li>Supervise part-time production labor to fulfill customer and department interests. </li>\n <li>Train and develop laborers to ensure optimal project quality and efficiency.</li>\n <li>Optimize production systems and workflows according to industry best practices.</li>\n <li>Interface with the design team to optimize information transfer and drawing details.</li>\n <li>Communicate with project management to coordinate production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of all projects.</li>\n <li>Ensure each finished product is optimized for on-site assembly/installation.</li>\n <li>Ensure the creation and maintenance of a safe working environment, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns and work hazards.</li>\n <li>Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong leadership and team management skills. Able to drive individual and team performance towards a common goal.</li>\n <li>Strong familiarity with (or a desire to learn and master) the principles of Lean Production, Six Sigma, etc.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as strong interpersonal and relationship skills.</li>\n <li>Able to effectively assess customer project and design needs and to provide proactive solutions.</li>\n <li>Strong computer proficiency with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.</li>\n <li>Able to function effectively as part of a high-performance production team.</li>\n <li>Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environments.</li>\n <li>Quantitative skills such as basic business accounting, etc.</li>\n <li>Strong systems and safety orientation.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED.</li>\n <li>3-5 years’ experience in Building Materials, Construction, or a related field.</li>\n <li>2-3 years’ management experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Physical Work Requirements - Heavy: exerting up to 50 lbs of force regularly.</li>\n <li>Repetitive motion associated with assembly and construction.</li>\n <li>Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or work conditions associated with this job.
