Description

JOB SUMMARY : Proactive and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to focus on renewing service contracts and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a high rate of contract renewals, identifying upsell opportunities, and reducing customer churn. Your efforts will directly impact recurring revenue and customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Service Contract Renewals Manage the end-to-end process of renewing service contracts, ensuring timely communication with customers ahead of expiration dates. Achieve and exceed individual renewal rate targets by proactively engaging with customers via phone, email, and other channels. Address customer questions and objections to secure commitments for contract renewals. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to promote retention and loyalty. Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights into the value and benefits of continued service contracts. Partner with customer success and support teams to resolve any service-related concerns. Revenue Growth Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services during the renewal process. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote new offerings that enhance customer value. Data Management and Reporting Accurately update and maintain records of customer interactions and renewal activities in the CRM system or excel. Provide regular reports on renewal rates, customer feedback, and upsell success to leadership. Use data to identify trends and recommend strategies to improve renewal outcomes. Collaboration and Process Improvement Work closely with the sales operations and finance teams to streamline the renewal process. Provide feedback on processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. EDUCATION/ SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (preferred but not required). EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or a similar role, preferably in a recurring revenue or subscription-based business. SKILLS: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in renewals or customer retention. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle objections and close deals. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
