    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>The Project Manager is expected to develop and maintain a client base, manage sales, and coordinate the field labor needs for each project in conjunction with field leadership. The Project Manager will use judgement and discretion in representing the company. They are expected to show a high level of commitment and involvement with their work and the company’s business.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the single point of responsibility and main contact for both the business and the customer throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Perform all project management functions to promote and finalize sales, including concept engineering, estimating, creating written proposals, and leading meetings.</li><li>Successfully manage all aspects of contracts, including sales, estimating, procurement, and execution as well as coordinate field labor and installation sequencing between the customer and field leadership.</li><li>Manage financial aspects of the job by forecasting, preparing budget projections, controlling costs, billing, and monitoring job costs.</li><li>Generate essential documentation for good business procedures and legal protection, including letters, proposals, memos, contracts, and change orders.</li><li>Build and maintain cordial relationships with external clients, vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.</li><li>Provide internal leadership and project coordination across all departments, including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service.</li><li>Provide leadership and coordinate assigned staff across all internal departments throughout the project lifecycle to successfully deliver the contracted scope and meet customer requirements.</li><li>Lead effective communication by consulting with management, attending sales and construction meetings, and coordinating pre-construction kickoff meetings.</li><li>Act as a mentor by recruiting, training, and coaching staff, while contributing to special studies, committees, and other duties directed by management.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Position Requirements (Work Experience, Skills, Licenses, etc.): &nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to operate independently and autonomously to facilitate goals outlined by your supervisor</li><li>Demonstrate a corresponding high sense of integrity</li><li>Demonstrated experience/ability to develop new business</li><li>Strong interpersonal and project management abilities, employing strong organizational skills to respond successfully to a high volume of issues.</li><li>Maintain a community presence in an industry-based or community-based organization. &nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education and Experience: &nbsp;</strong></p><p><i><strong>Required: &nbsp;</strong></i></p><ul><li>BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field</li><li>5+ years of experience in estimating, design, and/or management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $25+ million &nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ACCO Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Proactivity/Initiative:</strong> Recognizes what needs to be done and accomplishes it in a manner appropriate for one’s level/position and with minimal supervision.</li><li><strong>Perseverance: </strong>Shows wherewithal to fight for difficult goals despite challenges and to bounce back from adversity.</li><li><strong>Motivation/Dedication:</strong> Commits to excellence in pursuing unselfish goals. Initiates action with collective goals, takes responsibility, and shows personal humility.</li><li><strong>Technical Curiosity/Willingness to Learn: </strong>Interest in seeking out new experiences, knowledge, and candid feedback; demonstrating an openness to learning and change.</li><li><strong>Insight:</strong> The ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities.</li><li><strong>Engagement: </strong>Shows a knack for using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people.</li><li><strong>People Skills: </strong>Is approachable and gains the mutual trust and respect of others. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor.
