Crown Infrastructure Delivery (CID) is seeking Project Managers at intermediate and senior levels to join our Programme Delivery team in Wellington.
Whether you’re building your capability or already leading complex projects, we’re keen to hear from you.
Who We Are
CID is a Crown‑owned company delivering complex infrastructure and property projects across Aotearoa. We partner with government agencies to manage procurement, design and delivery—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and with lasting value.
You’ll join a collaborative team supported by a strong Project Support Office, with flexible working and a focus on professional development.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering infrastructure projects across their lifecycle. Depending on your experience, you’ll take on increasing responsibility for leading projects and stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead end‑to‑end project delivery from planning through to construction and close‑out
Manage or contribute to project controls, including schedule, risk, and budget
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
Contribute to business cases and investment decision‑making
Coordinate project teams and ensure effective governance and reporting
Deliver projects aligned with CID standards, values and NZ guidelines
Senior candidates will take greater ownership of complex projects and stakeholder environments, with accountability for delivery outcomes.
What You’ll Bring

Proven experience leading complex projects and programmes (senior level)
