This includes overseeing preventive maintenance, managing mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment, as well as supervising employees, budgets, and cost reporting. This hands-on role requires a commitment to working extended hours during busy periods and being a team player who is willing to perform various related tasks throughout the day.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Abide by all facility safety rules, regulations, and corporate policies</p></li>\n <li><p>Support and implement best practices in maintenance vision, strategy, policies, and procedures to enhance operational performance</p></li>\n <li><p>Identify risks and implement measures to reduce the frequency and severity of accidents involving contractors and maintenance personnel</p></li>\n <li><p>Develop and manage weekly maintenance schedules while ensuring compliance and prioritization of tasks</p></li>\n <li><p>Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform maintenance tasks efficiently and to the highest quality standards</p></li>\n <li><p>Monitor and control repair costs and job execution for optimal efficiency</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain accurate records of completed work, including tools, materials, and equipment used</p></li>\n <li><p>Review equipment history and ensure proper documentation in work order completions</p></li>\n <li><p>Report maintenance performance during major overhauls and suggest improvements</p></li>\n <li><p>Prioritize work orders based on emergencies and facility needs</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain high standards of housekeeping, productivity, and workmanship, particularly within the mechanical maintenance department</p></li>\n <li><p>Strive to achieve 98% job reliability across all maintenance tasks</p></li>\n <li><p>Investigate safety incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions</p></li>\n <li><p>Address facility concerns with the manager in a timely manner</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform other duties as assigned</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education and Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 5 years’ combined experience as an Equipment Maintenance Technician</li>\n <li>Must have experience with Electrical and Hydraulics</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work under pressure and meet priorities and deadlines</p></li>\n <li><p>Good attendance and a positive attitude</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to optimize work processes</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience negotiating with vendors</p></li>\n <li><p>Understanding of maintenance tracking software</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with overhead cranes, burning tables, or similar machinery (preferred)</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Other:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
